It’s been a few years since Sunrise Ford has been able to keep new vehicles on the lot for any length of time, and Leon Chretien couldn’t be happier.

Where in years past, people might spot their dream vehicle and drive it home the same day, COVID disruptions and subsequent supply chain challenges have meant many had to order ahead, then wait for their new wheels to arrive.

The good news? That the waiting game is easing and Chretien is eager to salute those who’ve continued to support the 100 Mile House dealership through the last few years.

“We’ve got the best supply of F-150s we’ve had in three years,” says Chretien, who’s owned the longstanding local dealership for 12 years. “And we want to give back to people who have stood by us.”

Until Christmas, as a way of saying ‘thank you,’ the purchase of a new 2023 Ford-150 0r 2022 Ford Edge will come with either $500 or $1,000 grocery card and a holiday turkey.

Meet the current Ford line-up

Whether you’re in the market for an SUV that can carry the whole family – plus your fishing or hockey gear – or a daily driver that’s also ideal for the worksite, the Sunrise team likely has a vehicle that will get you where you need to go.

In addition to celebrated new releases like the full-size Bronco and nimble Bronco Sport, an option like the Ford Edge offers a spacious interior and loads of cargo space, plus the safety features and handling you want for Cariboo roads.

At the same time, if you’ll be pulling a boat or trailer, or simply want the convenience of a truck, you can’t go wrong with the F-150, Canada’s best-selling truck for a reason, with best-in-class tow rating and stylish design – and now available as an electric!

With Ford alternating sales and financing promotions, Chretien encourages anyone in the market for a new vehicle to get in touch to review the possibilities – while some may prefer the lower payment that comes with a reduced interest rate, for example, others will prefer cash back.

And for Sunrise Ford’s own promotion, purchasers will receive a Christmas turkey and:

  • $500 of grocery cards with purchase of a new 2023 Ford F-150
  • $1,000 of grocery cards with purchase of a new 2023-F-150 Lightning
  • $500 of grocery cards with purchase of a new 2022 Ford Edge

The holiday campaign is just one way Sunrise Ford salutes the South Cariboo community. In addition to supporting local youth programs, Chretien also supports and volunteers weekly with Psalm 23 recovery program in 59 Mile.

They also commit to supporting their own team and through them, their customers, who he thanks for their continued support during staffing challenges the last few years have also brought.

“We have some terrific new additions in key roles, including a new service manager and new technicians, so we thank people for sticking with us,” Chretien says. “We know that we need the community to survive and we also want the community to know that when they need us, we’ll be here.”
